Our story
HOMBAR began in 2012, built on a simple idea: that homeowners deserve work done with real care, by people who stand behind it. Andreas brought a craftsman's training from Germany, settled his family in Canada, and set out to build the kind of company he'd want to hire himself.
The family put down roots in Kingston in 2016, and it's been home ever since. Renovations are at the heart of what we do today — kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions and decks — alongside custom homes for families ready to build from the ground up.
It's still a family business. That means the person who meets you at the start is the same person who cares how it turns out — because our name is on it, and so is our reputation in this community.
